Apply for Fire Insurance Discount

Residents may now be eligible for a 10% discount on their fire insurance.

Thanks to the Green Valley ANF Fire Safe Council & support from Edgar Ortiz, Green Valley has successfully completed the Firewise USA's annual requirements. Which means... (drum roll!) All Green Valley residents can apply for a 10% discount on their Fire Insurance.

How to apply for your discount:

1. Download the Firewise Certificate on this page.

2. Go to the NFPA website to access the Firewise USA Sites Map: https://www.nfpa.org/education-and-research/wildfire/firewise-usa/firewise-usa-sites

   1. Enter your address in the box on the upper left side if the map, and take a screenshot.

   2. Check out the video below for directions on obtaining screenshot of Firewise Map with your address.

3. Notify your current broker via email to apply the Firewise discount. Include a copy of the certificate and the screenshot of the NFPA Firewise Map showing your address.

4. Ask them to email a copy of the certificate and map to cfpuw@cfpnet.com

   1. The FAIR Plan System will reject the endorsement automatically because we are new community. That is why it important for your broker to also email the proof to the email provided.

5. In the subject line have them put the policy number and instructions to apply the discount in the body of the email.
