Save Our Oak Trees 🌳 Free Injections

Green Valley residents are eligible for free GSOB injections. This opportunity not only protects the Oaks, but also our community.

The funds run out on March 1, 2025 and it’s very expensive without these grant funds.

"After having 2 our our oaks die in one year, I received a quote for 3 trees close to our house. It was $1200. With this grant 15+ trees on my property were injected for free and all are healthy & thriving." - GV Resident

The process of registering and tagging trees does take time, so please contact Melissa Valente as soon as possible. Contact: melissa.valente@fire.lacounty.gov  The chemical goes up into the tree, not the groundwater. Injections must be done during certain wether conditions. No injections happen in the summer when it's hot and the oaks are dormant.
